Homemade Chicken Wings

Simple and classic homemade chicken wings recipe perfect for game days, weekend BBQs, or casual nights in. You get the oven crisp flavor without the mess of deep frying your chicken wings. Toss with your favorite sauce, like classic Buffalo or BBQ, and make sure to dunk them in ranch or bleu cheese with every crunchy bite.

Homemade chicken wings with your favorite sauce.
Ingredients
  • 5 lbs chicken wings
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Place all ingredients in a large bowl and toss together to coat.
  2. Spread out wings in a single layer on a baking sheet For a crispier wing, place all on wire racks and catch drippings on baking sheet.
  3. Bake wings until cooked through and skin is crispy, 45–50 minutes. Turn over wings about half way through.
  4. Remove from oven and toss with favorite sauce, like Buffalo, BBQ, or eat them plain.
  5. Dunk in either ranch of bleu cheese.
